Urgent recall of popular baby dummies over fears they pose a strangulation risk

 A popular brand of dummies have been recalled over fears they pose a strangulation risk.

Bibs dummies were recalled on Friday by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

They product is available for sale on eBay store Chubby Gumz. 

'And that a cord or ribbon attached to a dummy may pose a strangulation hazard,' the recall notice said.

The ACCC also warned that part of the packaging did not meet safety standards. 

They said the packaging should  advise parents to inspect the dummy for damage or weakness, but doesn't.
